Schlumbergera x buckleyi - This is the true Christmas cactus. This one has a deep pink to red flower. This plant can handle sun but needs to be protected from any direct afternoon sun. Allow to dry out between waterings. **Fun Fact - Originating in England, it was created by William Buckley in the 1840s hence the hybrid name. The parent plants are both from Brazil (russelliana x truncata). To get this to bloom it needs long nights 12-14hrs and kept in cool temperatures between 55-65 in the Fall for 6-8 weeks.
