Tradescantia pallida - This plant is commonly called wondering jew. *Fun Fact Wondering Jew comes from a legend of a Jewish man who taunted Jesus on his way to crucifixion and was cursed to wander the earth. This plant will wonder where ever you allow it to grow and if planted out in the gardens as an annual it will creep along the ground and wonder as it is allowed rooting along the way. This one is commonly grown in hanging baskets, it likes sun to shade. The more sun its given the less it will stretch. It can handle a good cut each growing season to form new growth at the base to fill out. It makes a striking color texture to annual pots as well.

** All plants & pots differ from photo shown. This plant is available at the greenhouse year around if you visit. This is grown by Paula.
